Minister of State for Foreign Trade in the Lebanese Government since February 2019. Born on the 5th of March 1976, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Mourad followed his primary and secondary education at “Omar al-Mukhtar Educational Center” in BEKAA- Lebanon, then enrolled at “SUNY University” in New York, USA, where he graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration in the year 2001. His father, Abdul Rahim Mourad, a Political Leader and a Former Minister of Defense and Education. His mother is Mounira Mohammed Mourad. Married to Reem Al Assaf and has two daughters, Mira and Sima. In 2004, Mourad was appointed as the General Director of “AL GHAD EL AFDAL” Institutes in Western BEKAA, Lebanon. Keen to grow the Educational Organizations, Mourad implemented an innovative managerial scheme to develop and enhance all institutes, including “Omar Al-Mukhtar Educational Center”, “BEKAA Vocational and Technical Institute”, “BEKAA Industrial Institute”, “BEKAA Technical Institute”, “BEKAA Sports City”, “The Arab Cultural Center”, “The Language Center”, “Dar Al-Hanan for Orphans”, “Dar Al-Aman”, “Salah Al-Din Educational Center” and “Al-Qasr venue”.

In 2005, Mourad chaired the “Lebanese International University’s” branches in Western BEKAA, North BEKAA,Beirut, South Lebanon (Sidon, Tyre, Nabatieh), North (Tripoli and Akkar) and Mount Lebanon. Similarly, he served as Vice President for the “Lebanese International University” in Yemen (Sana'a, Taiz, Aden), Mauritania and Senegal.
